Our Customer of the Month for February 2012 is a cute little girl named Molly. Molly and her Mama, Peggy, live in Joliet, Illinois and have shopped at 3 Labs several times. When Peggy sent us Molly's picture we knew we had a new Star!!

Here in Peggy's words, is Molly's story:

:

"I was heading into a retail store for some dog food one Saturday morning when they were having a pet adoption day. I had witnessed many of these in the past and smiled and kept walking. This day would turn out to be quite different for you see there was this tiny little face peeking through the cage wires looking right at me. My eyes met hers and that was it. I was in trouble.

She was in with her Brothers and Sisters and other puppies were jumping and barking but she just sat out of all of their way just looking at me with those eyes. I went over and pet her nose through the wires and went on to get my food and left. I could NOT stop thinking about her.

The next morning I told my husband I needed to go to the pet store for "something". In my mind I told myself if it is meant to be she will still be there if not it was not meant to be. We already had two rescue dogs at home and I was thinking "you are crazy" go home. We walked into the store. I told myself there was no way she would still be there. I was sure she had been adopted. As we walked over to the adoption area there she was.

Only two of the 7 pups were left and she was one of them. All her brothers and Sisters had been adopted she was all alone sitting by herself in the corner of the fenced in area. I asked to hold her. She was so tiny she fit in one hand. I was then told that she was one of an "unwanted" litter of pups that had been dropped off at the shelter and that all her siblings had been adopted. She was the runt of the litter and was very small and timid. She shook in my arms so tiny and scared. My husband instantly knew she would be coming home with us.

She has grown with leaps and bounds and keeps up with her Brothers here at home and is as tough as nails with them. She plays with Jack our Rescue Lab Mix as well as Milo who could be her Brother they look so much alike. She has brought us more joy than you can imagine. The little "unwanted" runt of the litter is now the "princess" in our home."

And we agree, who could resist that cute little Princess face! We are so happy her fairy tale has a happy ending!

Congratulations to Molly, our February 2012 Customer of the Month!
